This is a very quick video showing off the early iterations of our 2017 Swerve Drive, with NeveRest 20s Orbitals with the Planetary Gearboxes. While I was on Hot Wired, we only used Tetrix motors because we had no space for NeveRest motors. I led a team of four to work on this drive train. Although it took a month to design and construct, it was by far worth it!
I taught "Scouting like a Pro!" at the Benson Bot Fest. I mostly covered the different components of scouting, how to scout, different methods to scout, and the purpose of scouting. At the very end, I introduced my scouting app to the attendees.
I organized a weekly after school session to teach kids at William Walker Elementary School. I taught them the basics of the NXT bricks, applications of robotics in the real world, and build little robots. Of course, we had lots of fun time to support the little engineers' creative thinking!
